Hello.

I’m an award-winning filmmaker and editor specializing in documentary, commercial and social content.

I began making movies after stealing my parents’ Hi-8 camera with my friends and running off into the farm fields and forests of Pennsylvania, and I haven’t stopped since.

Making movies, that is.

After seeing how turning footage into stories could move people, I became enamored with the transformative power of editing. So, after film school and many, many coffee runs, I worked my way into the editor’s seat, where I honed my craft of telling immersive, heartfelt stories.

My style is raw, kinetic, and sharp——inspired by the messiness of life. It is perfect for character-driven, docustyle pieces, or scrappy social content campaigns. Humor and pathos weave throughout my work, which creates a lasting impression on the viewer. At least, that is the goal.

I believe that stories have the power to shed light on what’s important and inspire action. I’d like to think my work cracks the veneer, even if just enough to get you thinking. And get you views, that’s important too.

I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with many other talented artists, and my work has screened at festivals (such as SXSW, SFFilm, Big Sky, and Palm Springs), and been showcased by major platforms (including PBS, TVNZ, The New York Times, and Short of the Week).

I am perhaps best known as the writer and editor of the popular pandemic-era short doc, My Duduś, which explores the bond between a mother battling empty-nest syndrome and an abandoned baby squirrel. The film screened at over two dozen festivals, garnered several best documentary nominations, won both the Documentary of the Year and Audience Choice awards at Short of the Week, and was included in American Documentary’s POV shorts program.

When I’m not staring at a screen, you can find me outside hiking in the woods, jumping in the ocean, or getting my hands dirty at conservation nonprofits. If I’m not in any those places, I’m on the mats teaching jiu jitsu or in the kitchen trying not to stain another shirt.
